well it is the 4th of July...a.k.a my favorite holiday. And what else would I do on the best day of the year but wake up at 5am and head down to Provo. For the last 25 years balloons from all over the country gather to celebrate the day! At 6:30 am the national anthem played and 20 balloons filled up and rose off the field ...maybe that doesn't sound super exciting but I love it! If they all filled up and took off individually it would be no big deal, but to stand in the middle of 20 hot air ballons is incredible. it doesn't last too long, and it is kind of early, but I like to make the 4th of july as long a day as possible!
